Endeavor began in, 1998, as a multi-diciplinary working dog training group. After a few years, the group began to focus on primarily on the dog sport of schutzhund. In 2002, Endeavor formally became a club affiliated with the international all-breed schutzhund organization the Deutscher Verband der Gebrauchshundsportvereine, (German Associate of Working Dog Sport Clubs) usually referred to as the DVG. In 2004 we also affilitated with the United Schutzhund Clubs of America (UScA) . Through both of these organizations we hold trials that can offer our members opportunities to compete for tracking, obedience, protection, endurance, schutzhund, rescue dog and random article search titles. Although our primary discipline is schutzhund, or IGP as it is referred to now, many members also compete in a variety of dogsports, such as: AKC/UKC obedience Search and Rescue (SAR) Tracking Obedience Nose Work Dock Diving Members bring these and other disciplinary skills to the club to help other achieve their training goals.
